Ruby Shiva is a "captainess" of the Warlord guild. She is one of the most promising officers serving under Supreme Commander Chen Bird, who holds her in the highest regard (some say that with a softness uncommon to him).
The Commander gave her the leadership of the 12th Platoon,after she proved herself in the War games which take place in the Fields of Mars.
When Tesea Wang (Ala Jurgën's mother), was warped, Ruby was the one who headed a platoon to shut down the sector, and deal with the menace.
She is loved and known throughout the vault as the "Champion of Mars"
